Schedule 1 applications ensure that a child’s financial needs are met, they can provide three forms of
financial relief for a child, namely:-
a maintenance order, settlement, or transfer of property order against either or both parents
a periodical payments order or lump sum order in favour of a child who has reached 18 and is
undergoing education/training
variation of an existing maintenance agreement containing financial arrangements
