This IDS Employment Law Handbook - Employment Tribunal Practice and Procedure is more than double the size of the previous edition at over 1200 pages, is designed as a guide for those involved in cases before the employment tribunals in England, Wales and Scotland or before the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT).

It aims to explain clearly and in detail how the employment tribunal system works and how tribunal decisions can be challenged, by way of either a 'reconsideration' or an appeal to the EAT.

This Handbook has been completely revised and updated to take account of the new Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 introduced on 29 July 2013. It also covers the new fees regime introduced at the same time, as well as the mandatory early conciliation scheme that came into effect on 6 May 2014.

It examines the pertinent case law, considering both reported and unreported decisions, not only of the higher courts but also of employment tribunals.
